Jaycee Allen II

Co-Founder & CEO, Allen Legacy

Jaycee Allen II, Co-Founder and CEO of Allen Legacy, has always had a deep passion for helping others. For 15 years, Jaycee served as a dedicated beat officer with the Los Angeles Police Department in South Central Los Angeles. Throughout his career, he worked in various specialized units, ultimately earning a position in the Mental Evaluation Unit, where he assisted individuals in crisis. This work was especially meaningful to him, as he had close family members who faced similar mental health challenges.

In 2021, Jaycee’s law enforcement career came to an early close due to a back injury that prevented him from performing his daily duties. During this transitional period, his wife, Raesita, suggested converting their detached garage into a short-term rental. That single idea sparked a new chapter — and the beginning of Allen Legacy.

What started with one converted garage has grown into a thriving business managing three successful short-term rental properties. Today, Jaycee and Raesita not only operate their own portfolio but also coach and mentor others who are ready to launch their first short-term rental. Their mission is simple: to help others build lasting income streams while creating memorable guest experiences.

Meet Raesita Allen,

the visionary behind Allen Legacy.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Raesita saw an opportunity to turn challenge into creativity. Inspired by the idea of generating additional income, she transformed a modest 340-square-foot detached garage into a beautifully designed short-term rental. With intentional décor and thoughtful touches, what started as a side project quickly became a thriving success—and Allen Legacy was born.

Today, Allen Legacy represents more than just a rental space; it’s a testament to vision, resilience, and the power of turning small beginnings into lasting legacies.

With over 13 years of experience as a dedicated Speech Pathologist Assistant, Raesita has spent her career helping young children overcome speech disorders. Her professional journey spans hospitals, private clinics, detention centers, and even her own private practice—demonstrating her deep commitment to service and care.
